Got the Rhythm Blue and had it upgraded

Upgraded by HYPR Controllers via send-in:

- TMR Sticks

- Four tactile back buttons

- Mouse-click triggers and bumpers

Lost the adaptive triggers (I feel like I castrated it) but plan to make this my main FPS game controller. I have another Dualsense with intact adaptive triggers anyway.

The shell is definitely a fingerprint magnet especially on the black parts, and there isn't much grip especially when your hands are sweating, but I really love its aesthetic so I had to get it.

Oh, also got the Batmaxx 4000 mAh battery for it. Doubt it's really 4000 mAh, but the difference between stock battery is no joke. Gamed for 12 hours straight and the percentage just went from 100% to 75%.

As for HYPR controllers, I know they became controversial the previous years, but they really did a quick and good job on this one. I can't vouch for their other services (such as building custom controllers from scratch), and they're local where I am, but the transaction and inquiries were smooth and problem-free. The controller was also rigorously tested before send-back (they send you a video recording of the testing itself). It took only a week from sending the controller to them to receiving it back. I'm happy with the experience, and can vouch for their send-in service.

I've had the kit for months now and its been working great, until I did a full shell replacement. First, my left clicky trigger does not register. I opened the controller up again and again checking my connections, all seemed well. Then I realized the back paddle LED lights are no longer lighting up. Also, I just found out the PS button isn't working too, ugh

I may have torn part of the FPC contact (see image). And I also think the clicky trigger ribbon cables may have been damaged (its been folded in palces, but doesn't appear to have any scratches, hence the electric tape). But the touchpad is working still.

Is it possible to buy replacement cables only and not the whole kit? What could have went wrong when I opened it up?
