I am at what i think is the last major puzzle i have not solved (of course, there might be more pending on what I discover when I solve this one).

WARNING: DISCUSSION OF MAJOR LATE GAME SPOILERS BELOW

I have found >!the secret tomb that mentions "the Black Key". I've solved all the puzzle boxes in the room and figured out how to make the clock on the tomb appear. I believe all I have to do now is figure out what time or combination of times I need to press on to make something happen!<

For now, my question is >!am I correct that the odd message in the clock tower that mentions directions and "dark is the day coming fourth" is key to figuring out this puzzle!< ?

I've figured out the majority (i think) of the game's secrets without cheating, but after 80+ hours my patience is starting to wear thin on the handful of things I haven't figured out. 🤣

I am looking for >!the third microchip. I have the one from smashing the vase!<

My leading theories right now are that I will find it by either 1. >!reaching the 8th classroom. I've only made it to the 7th so far!< , or 2. >!placing the 4 Corner Cases checkmarked in A New Clue in the 4 corners of the house in a single run!<

I was hoping someone could just tell me if either of those will lead me to it, and if not, can you please give me a hint that points me in the direction of where I should be looking?
