Study claims New York Times helped create political controversy over trans rights
thepinknews.comI need a career pivot; second nonprofit I interviewed with decided not to hire anyone because of budget
I've been interviewing for the past 15 months for various fundraising/development positions in nonprofits. For every 5 jobs I apply to, I tend to get an interview. At least two orgs decided -- after I became a finalist -- that they won't staff the position anymore with anyone, after 2-3 months of interviews.
Are there any other fields I could look into? I used to be the executive director of a nonprofit, with plenty of experience in grant writing, policy research, relationship building, customer service, and team/project management. I know those skills are transferable, but I'm having a hard time making myself marketable. Corporate is fine but it's a different beast altogether, and frankly, I just need to be able to put food on the table again.
Who are the most effective henchmen in fiction?
I mean, which army of nameless underlings are best at getting the job done assigned to them? They can be local or large scale, gangsters or intergalactic armies, etc etc, but out of groups like The Hand, the Foot Clan, AIM, HYDRA, Cobra, the League of Assassins, the Penguin's goons, the Chitauri, the Putties, etc.
The only caveat is no names figureheads, lieutenants, and leaders -- so no one like Cobra Commander, Bebop & Rocksteady, Goldar, the Black Order, etc. This is all about the generic mooks that throw themselves at our heroes.
After the Chitauri Invasion, the Avengers had shawarma. What do you think they ate after half the universe got snapped in Infinity War?
Spider-Noir (TV) vs. The Question (JLU)
Two superhero noir detectives go at it in 1930s Manhattan! Which Fedora Fighter wins?
Some notes:
- Spider-Noir here is much physically weaker than regular Spider-people. While he does have a degree of enhanced strength and durability, he can still be hurt by human attacks.
- it's interesting that he never fought other superhumans until the events of this show; he had always fought human foes and his archenemy Silvermane used henchmen to fight him
- by contrast, while the Question is a mere human, human superheroes in the DCAU (especially in the JLU) tended to border on the edge of superhuman
- The Question also has some very impressive martial arts skills

Why does Robby want Mohan to quit the ED so bad? Is he stupid?
Lineups exactly as shown. The Seven (two versions) vs. the Made For TV (MFTV) Justice League of America
Two Rounds:

Round 2: JLA (refreshed) vs. The Seven (which I guess is more like the Six) in photo 2
