Blue Jean Baby- Wall Lamp

Wall Lamp I made with Italian Crepe, multiple shades of blue dye, maroon dye that turned more to the pink side, wood base, and a rechargeable LED.

The colors and texture reminded me of may favorite pair of jeans, hence the name Blue Jean Baby

Showing off what I made! Fire Poppy Wall Lamp

I'm an artist and I couldn't resist showing off what I made!

I finished this wall lamp at 1am because I absolutely could not stop until I saw it hanging on my wall. 😅

Fire Poppy Wall Lamp

Hi there! I finished this wall lamp at 1am because I absolutely could not stop until I saw it hanging on my wall.

Made from hand dyed German crepe paper with 7 layers of dye, sculpted petal by petal, finished with gold leafing, mounted on a wood base, and lit with 16 feet of COB LED lighting.

24 inches width

9 inches deep

Would genuinely love thoughts on the overall composition and texture balance.

[Self] Sclupted Paper- Peony Bloom Wall Lamp

Hi there! I finished this wall lamp at 1am because I absolutely could not stop until I saw it hanging on my wall.

Made from hand dyed German paper with 7 layers of dye, sculpted petal by petal, finished with gold leafing, mounted on a wood base, and lit with 16 feet of COB LED lighting.

24 inches round

9 inches deep

I seriously wish I were a better photographer because these photos flattened the colors so much. In person, the reds have a ton more depth and variation, especially once the light is on.

Would genuinely love thoughts on the overall composition and texture balance.

Peony Bloom Table Lamp

Hi there! I sculpt lighting using Italian and German crepe paper, usually in the form of large illuminated wall pieces using COB LED strip lighting, so this table lamp was a little different for me.

The shade was sculpted from Italian crepe paper, the base is a thrifted candle holder I repurposed, and the light source is a rechargeable puck light.

I’m really drawn to floral forms, organic movement, and materials that diffuse light in a soft atmospheric way.

Would love thoughts on the design and overall feel of the piece.
