I just got Akechis Confidant to level 8 for the first time by reading a guide online, and because of that I leaned heavily into the '"you're my rival"/I won't join him when this is all over'-dialogue choices. Now my question to those who have maybe played this game a few more times than me, is anything substantially different if you take the "other route" aka telling him that you will join him afterwards? >!Does he still want to duel you?!<

I have a rules question: a number of class/subclass features allow you to use weapons as a spellcasting focus. If said weapon were to be a +1 weapon would that also mean that spell attack rolls with it are made with +1?
