Abstract: Are Arabs the Indigenous People of Palestine? Untangling History from Political Mythology

A challenge to the popular narrative of Palestinian history, arguing that population records, demographic data, and genetic studies undermine claims of ancient, uninterrupted Arab indigeneity while affirming continuous Jewish ties to the land.

Legacy media, being fed by anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, and antisemitic actors, keep publishing manufactured lies about the land of Israel and the Palestinians.

For decades, one of the most effective propaganda victories in modern history has been the idea that Palestine was a kind of frozen civilisation: an ancient, unchanging Arab population sitting in the same villages for a thousand years until, suddenly, foreign Jews arrived from Europe and disrupted paradise.

It’s an astonishingly dishonest version of history, and yet millions believe it. We need to correct the lies.

Gaza peace? Hamas to disarm? If you believe this I have a bridge I'd like to sell you!

>Palestinians living in Gaza have voiced doubts that Hamas's pledge to disarm will bring about peace in the war-torn enclave.

>It comes after Donald Trump said the militant group relinquishing its weapons would be followed by Israel withdrawing from Gaza.

>Hamas has said the agreement hinges on Israel leaving the strip and ceasing strikes.

Hamas perspective is so much different from Israel's - don't celebrate yet.

Who trusts Hamas anyway?

A Christian response to the antisemitic & anti-Israel Kairos II document. This is a very useful resource against lies

>The Kairos Palestine II document, fully titled “A Moment of Truth: Faith in a Time of Genocide” (November 2025), presents itself as a prophetic cry from Palestinian Christians amid suffering. It accuses Israel of genocide, ethnic cleansing, settler colonialism, and apartheid, framing the Jewish state as a racist, supremacist project rooted in 1948’s Nakba. It calls for BDS, sanctions, boycotts, and the rejection of Zionism as a “theological distortion and moral corruption”.

>Yet its theological framing, historical claims, and political assertions raise serious concerns for Christians committed to biblical fidelity, historical accuracy, and the rejection of antisemitism.

>This author offers a critique of Kairos II so you may understand the serious issues with it. This article exposes factual distortions and theological misapplications embedded within the document. It also addresses and debunks the accusation that Israel is committing genocide, and reaffirms Israel’s historic, legal, and biblical rights to the land.

I have a 3+ year old Dell notebook, now surplus to requirements, installed Ubuntu 26.04 and speedtest showx the WiFi much slower then when it was running Windoze 11.

Barbeques Galore GAWN! 62 outlets to close, sad.

Barbeques Galore who have been in administration are closing. 500 jobs lost etc.

I'm expecting that many factors like low cost similar items from Bunnings, the economy, etc. will be the compound reason.
Any thoughts on this closure and its impact?

I hate when Aussie businesses go down.

Australian Christian Freedom Index (ACFI) - presented to Parliament Thursday 28th May

We were in Canberra last week (Thu 28th May) as part of the Australian Christian Freedom Index (ACFI) team that presented the report to Parliament.

This project was a joint effort of Australian Christian Lobby, Australian Family Coalition, Canberra Declaration, Citizen GO, Family Voice, Human Rights Law Alliance; and endorsed by Anglican, Catholic, and other senior Church leaders

The Australian Christian Freedom Index is the first systematic audit of its kind — measuring the legislative, institutional, social and cultural pressures on Christian belief and expression across Australia. Drawing on documented cases, a review of the statute books across nine jurisdictions, and the responses of more than 10,000 Australians, the inaugural 2025 (published May 2026) report maps where freedom is being eroded, which institutions are most at risk, and what can be done about it.

Quote:

>Almost two and a half centuries after its arrival on our shores, Christianity remains Australia’s largest faith, comprising more than 11 million adherents.1 But in the 2020s, it is also a religion under pressure. The statistics and stories featured in this inaugural report of the Australian Christian Freedom Index (ACFI) put that reality in the spotlight. They also serve as a reminder that religious freedom is a fading star in the constellation of liberties that illuminate nations like Australia.

>Freedom of religion is inseparable from other freedoms like speech, conscience and association. Each of these is a facet of the same human impulse to pursue truth and order one’s life accordingly. The protection of religious freedom is not a sectarian goal but a prerequisite for a truly free society. And while Christianity cannot claim special treatment as a minority religion in Australia, it does deserve equal protection, not least because the freedoms at stake are, in no small part, a Christian gift to the world.

>Australia remains a free country relative to most nations—but not so if we compare it to the Australia whose founders, in the Constitution’s Preamble, described themselves as a people “humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God.

Key points:

  • 40 documented cases of Christians penalised for their beliefs
  • 74 laws passed Federal or State in Australia since 2000 restricting Christian freedoms
  • 9 jurisdictions audited — 6 states, 2 territories plus the Commonwealth
  • 10,808 survey respondents
  • 92% of respondents say it’s riskier today to affirm Christian beliefs publicly than 5 years ago
  • Stage 5 reached on Brobbel’s internationally recognised 8-stage persecution scale

We are at level 5/8 (physical attack) on the Brobbel Persecution Scale where 8 = martyrdom; which is crazy for a western nation.

Please pray for Australia !!

This is not NASA or any Government agency.
What's more ANY flefer can build a similar rocket and do the same experiment.
It is interesting that flerfers promote the 'zetetic method' (proceeding by inquiry or investigation) yet won't actually do the work/experiment to see for themselves in an objective manner. This proves flerfers have nothing.

>Kip Daugirdas:

>Two-stage amateur rocket flight to 293,488 ft (55.6 mi/89.5 km). This rocket is called MESOS (short for mesosphere) because it is designed to fly there. The mesosphere is the third layer of Earth's atmosphere situated between 31 and 53 miles (50-85 km) above the surface. The amazing part about this rocket is it reached this altitude on less than 41,000 N-s of total impulse (full O-class high power rocket motor)! Capable of carrying the equivalent of a 16 oz can of beer/energy drink as a payload, this rocket flew two GoPro Hero 9s with modified rectilinear lenses. Both stages are recovered via parachutes and are reusable. This video covers the development and the launch of this record breaking rocket. I hope you enjoy it!
