Game Title: Tower of Destiny
Playable Link: https://www.towerofdestiny.com/
Platform: Web-based.
Description: Tower of Destiny is a web-based dungeon crawling roguelite with community elements. The goal is to ascend the tower and recover the legendary Crown of Destiny and then escape alive. It is filled with mobs whose only goal is to make you a permanent denizen of the tower. If you die, your character becomes an NPC that other players can interact with, and they can buy the inventory items you had at the time of death. If you join a Faction, how you play will affect the game play of other Faction members.
Free to Play Status: Free to play. Always. No ads. No bs.
Involvement: I am the developer.
I've been working on a web-based dungeon crawler I call Tower of Destiny. I've been saying it's a roguelike, but it may be more of a roguelite due to the achievement system adding permanent upgrades.
It's more than just a game, it's a community. Your actions in-game affect your Faction's Honor, which in turn affects game play for everyone in your Faction. You can export your favorite in-game items for use in future games, or to sell them to other players.
Join a Faction and gain access to an exclusive forum. Make friends and send them virtual currency to help them out. Convert in-game gold to virtual currency and vice-versa.
Earning achievements will unlock races and classes, and some may even grant special items you can use in-game.
I've been working on a browser based rogue like I call Tower of Destiny, and I've got it to the point I'm comfortable with making public now. Come check it out: https://www.towerofdestiny.com/
EDIT: password requirement on the registration form has been removed. h/t to u/RatherBeRidin for pointing it out.
Each run is recorded in the Adventure Log for posterity.
