So cool to see how far Lego Star Wars has come along in 25+ years.
So, I was around when this was in arcades back in the ‘90s but I haven’t played the arcade version since then.
Now I play the N64 version pretty regularly and had have unlocked all cars and variants so I know the game really well.
I was a bit surprised that the N64 version is actually a pretty good port, with the N64s music being better than the arcade imo.
It was fun putting this together again. The instructions were a bit different with no parts called out for each step. I also like the super bland minifigs (by today’s standards). I also like that they included a catalog to mail order LEGO sets.

Such a bummer and totally makes me regret buying the collection. I have held off playing it, opting instead to play my OG copy, but I really wanted to play the new reissue I paid money for.
I decided to finally get this set due to the talks of its rumored retirement. I am excited for Minith Tirith but I honestly think Rivendell is more what I’m looking for right now. Added a few custom figs to fill it out and needed to separate the set because my display space is at slightly different levels. Overall, love the set.
I picked up this set about a month ago and it is awesome. That said, I feel like I have moved/tweaked/changed the branches and leaves on this tree like a million times. I honestly think I have it pretty good now but was curious if others had the same experience.
