If the leaks are in fact accurate and we're getting a new helms deep, do you think LEGO will make a new helmet mould for the warriors of rohan or use the existing goggled viking helmet, im personally hoping for a new mould as I find the existing viking helmet to be comically large unless the minifigs have beards
Just built my first big Lego set and I'm thinking of getting Rivendell then Minas tirth. I think I won't get the old helms deep and orthanc tower yet as apparently they may get a remake in a few years.

This seems like such a sus thing to request from LEGO and I don’t want to flag my account, but I also bought a $650 set and am annoyed it’s missing a shield. Should I just request it?
I think the only thing I have requested in the past was a sticker sheet and the cockpits for the arc170

Some months ago I began reverse engineering the Llego Balrog from the original 2012 Lego Lord of the Rings videogame. A lot of you helped me in this process, by identifying pieces from the game, sending me the game files and even sharing their take on the build. Now, a while ago I finished it, and I wanted to share it with you. I gotta still add the stickers, but I really like how It turned out. Also, it should be 100% accurate to the game model. Thank you so much for everything, 9 year old me would've screamed if he saw this, I hope I made him happy.
So, I JUST discovered that expansions (MOCs?) were a thing. I had no idea. I recently picked up Rivendell, Barad-Dur, and Orthanc Lego kits. I'm almost done building Rivendell. I found these Rivendell expansions on AliExpress. Is that the best place to get them or is there a better site? Any recommended ven dors? I'm blown away by how amazing these look.
Tried myself on another LotR-MOC. Would love to hear your thoughts on that alt.

I was wondering why hasn’t Lego made one yet, so I build one myself a bit chunky but it works (got some inspiration from a yt video)
I’m a fan of single-set rebuilds and finally got around to this project: an articulated and detailed Balrog, approximately scaled for minifigs. I’ll be honest, the neon yellow isn’t the best fit but I couldn’t pass up the included “whip” in this set. Not to mention the set is easy to find and cheap.
No instructions at the moment, I still have to learn the software but included some close up shots of each section which all connect pretty simply. Let me know what you think and if you build it too!
I have a family friend who gifted me this Lego Rivendell set (it’s been my dream set for years). It was donated to this antique shop she works at and it seems some of the bags were mixed up with a Willy Wonka set. After going through it, I have bags 7-49 and pretty much all of the minifigures I wanted. I also have a random Willy Wonka bag. However I’m missing most of the left tower.
I wanted to see if any of you had any ideas of how I can MOC this set. I get its modular; so I have two solid models on their own. I have looked into the whole Rebrickable thing, but it’s like $250 to build out the foundation of the left tower. Idk I feel like I’d rather try and do my own thing. Any tips? Or did anyone do something similar with their Rivendell set? Either way I’m so stoked to build this thing, and in a way, more so because I get to do my own thing for part of it.

Not bad for £12 Lidl lazy Susan, a bit of plywood and some free wallpaper to cover the bottom! I'm pretty happy with the result!
