After my take on a 2 mast clipper i wanted to return the rule of the sea back to the pirates. I went through my boxes and found hull pieces enough for a 7 piece ship. This Mastodon will become the flagship of my collection once it is complete. Needless to say, i don't have the space for this one, but i'll cross that sea when i get to it.

So far i have built the structure for the captain's quarters. The color scheme is set and i have plenty of ideas for this one. Obviously the frontpiece is also sorted. This is one of those "i build it a little by little and make modifications when i come up with them" projects. My last ship took me about 2 full days to build, but it was almost half the size. Last pic is of my clipper moc for reference. I'll update this when i progress.

Hard to resist this price already..

Bought a bin of 10kg random lego (and the usually kinder toys etc that always finds its way) for 10€/kg. On the sales picture i managed to identify the brown horse with movable legs (gandalf arrives was my thought) and some fantasy era knights. I figured i'd take a gamble.

The boxes have been sitting in the storage room for a few weeks because of other stuff going on, but today i took a quick peek. I was not disappointed! This is just skimming through the top of the first box!!! I can't wait to get to pour these down and go crazy with the finds.

I've been hoarding trolls wherever i can for the past year or so (slow progress) to build my own troll mountain fortress with dwarves living underneath in the mines. My royal family of trolls is finally sorted with the sovereign couple and their warlock chanselor.

I will begin the build later this year once I get some other projects out the door first. Once I do, i'll post updates.
