Hi guys. Just received a sage 5 today, but it has a decent amount of side to side play, even with the pivot cranked down. Also, when I took it apart, I noticed the washers aren’t particularly flat. Is there anything I can do or is this unfortunate warranty work? Thanks!

Edit: it is also pretty off center.

Edit 2: switched the orientation of the pivot bushing. centering is 10x better and blade play is still present but way less, maybe around or less than my pm2.

Hi guys i really just wanna clean out my knife fully because i have a crazy amount of gunk and lube and shit trapped under my washer (at least i’m pretty sure) but i can’t remove the washer because the pivot is so stuck in. Both pivot screws are removed, so it’s just the bushing shoved all the way in. Is there a better method than just brute forcing it with pliers? thanks!

Hi guys :D I wanted to see if replacing the bearings in my kizer mini militaw would make a big enough difference to be worth it which got me thinking of a few more questions

1. Of course, is it worth it to change the bearings in the mini militaw?

2. Does the orientation of bearings matter?

3. Does blade size play a big role in the action changed? For example, I noticed more of a difference changing bearings in the AD20.5 vs the shark cub, but i wasn’t sure if it was a size thing.
