I built a studying app designed for different learning styles

Hi everyone!

Over the past few months, I’ve been working on an AI-powered study assistant called StudyPilot (https://studypilot.dev).

As a neurodivergent student, I always had a hard time with traditional note-taking and study methods. I built StudyPilot to give students an adaptable tool that works with your learning style rather than against it.

What it does:

- Combines a bunch of study tools and note-taking systems into one

- Helps you take notes during class, and then use those notes to study more efficiently

- Automatically turn lecture notes into quizzes, flashcards, or tailored summaries based on how you learn best

I know how hard it is to be expected to do something in a certain way while the optimal way for you is completely different. That's what StudyPilot is built for: helping you study in the way that works best for you.

I just released it to the public. That said, I am still developing it and new features are added every day.

If you are interested in trying it out and you feel like you might find it useful please feel free to make an account and start using it right away. I would love your feedback, this app is meant to help people who study in different ways, so the more suggestions I get the more the app can develop. Feel free to comment here too and ask any questions of course.

Thank you, and happy Piloting!

Can I park a car in the village just for move in day (for a couple hours) without a permit?

I’m not planning to bring a car to have on campus, but I’m driving to the village on move in day with my dad and then he takes the car back. So I’m not going to buy a permit obviously. But my question is can I park the car in village for a couple hours just for move in day while I’m taking my things out, or am I gonna get a ticket for that? If not where can I park to easily take my stuff from the car?

I'm going to live first time at the village next year, and I can't find where it shows who my roommates are. Is there a way to know who I ended up with before move-in?

Transferring from a CSU to a UC

Hi, I’m currently a computer science major at Cal Poly Pomona and I just finished my freshman year. I’m thinking about transferring to a UC. I researched a little and found that the transferring process is very much made for community college students and that it’s a lot more difficult to compare classes from CSUs to UC classes and I’m just generally kind of confused about how this process of transferring into a UC from a CSU works. I was wondering if anyone here has been through this process or a similar one and has any input or advice that can help me understand this better and maybe make better decisions in the next year towards junior year in case I actually decide I want to transfer?
