I use the student discount for my monthly Verizon internet bill and I used it to get a Samsung Tablet from Best Buy. Curious if there are any other great discounts that I could be missing out on.
My coop team seems to have hit one of the switches in the save we were using before I combined my solo save file with it. We hit the last switch that leads to World 6. I think I missed the switch from World 4 to World 5 maybe, but I didnt get the achievement for Switch it Up. Or perhaps its because I wasnt in their coop file for all the switches so its marked me missing those as well? Going back to my solo save file I combined, I also can't find any unhit switches. Do I need to play the worlds all from scratch again just to get the achievement?

Wanted to give the request aspect a try. I would love request Monster Hunter: World. It is currently bundled in the Monster Hunter Spring Hunting Collection 2026 Bundle on Humble Bundle for $28 USD (includes other games as well if others are interested in those), but in other senses there are many locations where the game by itself is under $8 USD (https://isthereanydeal.com/game/monster-hunter-world/info/) depending on which site you're comfortable purchasing from.
The first Monster Hunter game I played was Monster Hunter Wilds, which I became addicted to and 100%'d. During this time, I had joined the Monster Hunter community where I met a lot of players who were so friendly and welcoming (where we were helping one another with the crowns achievement). I naively imagined that Monster Hunter Wilds was the best at the time since it seems quite popular and hadn't touched another Monster Hunter game since then, but was later told that World was way better recently.
From Monster Hunter Wilds, I really enjoyed the diversity of the weapon choice (and the satisfying noises from the weapons), the nuances of each of the monster types, the capability to play with NPCs even on solo so it was still challenging but not frustrating, and the community that I was able to be a part of for collaboration and sharing. I have heard that World was likely more challenging and more satisfying in which I added it to my Wishlist just this past April (April 14, 2026).
I am both blessed and cursed with the Achievement Hunter complexity ^^ It gives me the dopamine that I need to feel accomplished during my current time of unemployment. While I believe the DLC is required for 100% completion, I will see what my finances are when I reach that point.
I am very thankful for the gaming community as I did spent a good 6 months bed-rotting after becoming unemployed to the point where I did not know what purpose I had. While gaming isn't a purpose, the sense of achievement with every Steam Achievement I received really helped me. This year alone, I've completed over 60 games to 100% and the plan is to continue 100%ing to hopefully create a PowerBI dashboard for myself at the end of the year, which I'm personally really excited to set up and review.
When I became unemployed, I expected to be able to jump into another job without any issues. About 1.5 years have passed and I'm not quite sure how long this unemployment will be nor did I expect to be unemployed for this long. My current savings are going toward the basic essentials and my dog who had a seizure several week ago, recovered, and now is showing signs of other issues so unsure how many vet visits there will be (though she's worth every penny).
