May question lang ako about Interim Visas.

I currently have a general VVisa that expires in February 2027. However, I’ve been in NZ since June 1, and my visa conditions only allow me to stay for up to 3 months at a time, or 9 months within a 12-month period.

We’ve lodged a Partner of a New Zealander VVisa application, and I’m wondering if an Interim Visa can still be granted even though my actual visa doesn’t expire until next year.

I’m a bit confused because I can’t find clear information on whether an Interim Visa can be granted when it’s the permitted length of stay, rather than the actual visa expiry date.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how this works? Thanks!
