I will never understand the lowball offers. I always try and price my items in line with recent sales. I allow offers but set a minimum. Every now and then I’ll look to see if I received any offers that were automatically denied to see if I should reevaluate my price. Tonight on got an offer that was 35% off the listed. I realize they may be just trying to get an idea as to the minimum but it’s kind of wild to me.
Mostly venting but any suggestions on how to rectify this would be helpful. I sold an item on 2/4. USPS didn’t scan it on pickup causing a delay. The buyer opened an INR case. After speaking to USPS who said they can’t locate the package I refunded the buyer.
The item was finally delivered on 3/25. I know that eBay has a newer policy that will refund buyers in these scenarios. They first told me I was eligible for refund and to wait 24-48 hours. I gave them a week and nothing. I follow-up again and get the same response. I wait even longer and I follow/up again.
Recently I was told that I was not eligible because I didn’t ship in my handling time. I then send eBay the USPS pickup confirmation. Now I’m being told that since I refunded the buyer on 2/14 it’s past 30 days to reopen the case.
No where in their Money Back Guarantee does it state this as policy.
I know that eBay doesn’t care about sellers like they care about buyers but this has been ridiculous. It’s no small amount I’m out but this lack of consistency is really frustrating.

I’ll try and keep this short. So I sold an item that was “lost” by USPS. I refunded the buyer after the opened an INR case. Package was ultimately delivered although buyer claims they didn’t get it. Contact eBay and they approved a refund to me since it was delivered. They said I would see it in 24-48 hours. Nothing. I have followed up twice (last time on 4/23) and each time they say I should I payment in 24-48 hours. Should I email again? Call? Continue to wait?
