Who else is staying on AM4?
I keep wanting to pull the trigger on an AM5 upgrade, but, christ, I just can't bring myself to pay so much for RAM. Any upgrade is going to have to be overspending on a 5800x3d at this point.

I feel stupid, but I can't figure out the cause. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Thoughts?
I've been playing FH6 for a while now with no issues. I stepped away for a week, now I can only play offline. When I try to connect, it says an internet connection is required.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Once again, I turn to the wisdom and guidance of this sub.
New to us 2012 Monterey, the manual says there's a coating on the upholstery and not to use a cleaner/conditioner on it. That seems odd. I'm also sure that after 14 years, it should be good to apply.
Thoughts?
Bought a new-to-us fiberglass glass boat. Before purchasing, I noticed a chip in the stern and asked that it be fixed. The dealer said it was, but it wasn't filled. I'm wondering if they just gelcoated over it. It's still kinda rough to the touch, likely because it wasn't filled. This is the first fiberglass boat we've ever had, so it's all a learning experience.
What are your thoughts?
Image is from google.
I'm looking at a boat that has corrosion/rusting on the circled and highlighted areas (green highlight is underneath). The boat was last used in Florida and the guy says it was apparently only used in freshwater. Is corrosion/rusting and bubbling/peeling on these areas normal, or is it evidence of salt water use?
Thanks.
I took a boat for a sea test today and his cap kept coming off, spraying water into the engine bay. On our old boat, there was no cap and the port was sealed.
Can someone shed some light on this? When I googled it, some had a cap, some didn't.
Thanks.
I went to look at a 2008 Four Winns today that was in fantastic shape, but had this gouge on the bottom (top line). It was hard to capture in the photos, but can anyone determine if it looks like a scrape or a crack? I can live with a scrape. It was the depth of a thumbnail that was cut short, if that makes sense. Meaning, if you scrape your thumb over it, it catches.
Thanks!
Edit: may as well try to tie this in: the guy put electric surge brakes on the trailer, meaning the reverse blocking mechanism is triggered by the reverse lights. Thanks to a fuck up on both my end and my dealership, my truck only has the 4 pin, so I would need to physically stop the solenoid from activating when reversing. I didn't see anywhere to insert a pin. Has anyone else had come across this? Thanks again.
We're shopping for a new-to-us boat and are looking into fiberglass boats as a change from aluminum. A lot in our price range have osmotic blistering which I've learned to stay away from. Supposed to go look at a 2002 Glastron gx18, but he sent me some photos, and I'm just wondering if this stuff is normal. I'm worried about delamination as well, but to me, this kind of just looks like water stains.
Thanks.
these guys have been my favourite band for decades, and as i was listening to their history (songs from every album) while working, i started thinking...what is wrong with them? i got on board just after Suburban was released, so from there on, they fired Jim, fired Jordan, lost RJ after one album, fired Jake...
i recall listening to an interview with Scott from Pulley who said that Jim and Jordan hated each other and fought all the time, but got along perfectly fine in Pulley, calling Strung Out toxic. ignoring his recent IG shit, i can't help but think that the problem is Jason and/or Rob. i see Jason having main character syndrome for sure. Chris is nice as fuck, so i'm absolving him for now. when i had IG, Jordan also seemed like an ass, even seemingly making fun of Daniel in a story.
any other fans of the band have thoughts on this?
