I have a very bad strain of the Flu or COVID and I regret not canceling my trip with family.

I couldn't cancel. My dad prepaid the entire trip around $3,000 overall. I was obligated to come. Well I can't enjoy it. I am in the #1 most polluted city in America right now and I almost had to go to the ER. I decided Im just gonna be up all night.

My vacation is ruined. I work at an airport for context and it's my fault. I never washed my hands and I never took precautions working with and touching passengers. Prior to this job, getting sick like this was so rare.

Also, the airport I am at, people sneeze loud, wet, and openly, where you can see that visible layer of spit with the bubbles even and snot next to the spit.

So now my trip is ruined. And it's my fault. Like I would not wash my hands before eating finger foods and I rubbed my face and eyes.

I don't think I will ever plan a trip ever again until my last day at work. Then knowing I ain't sick, I will plan at the last minute.

Do you ever build immunity working at an airport? 2nd time i got very sick and in bed with no energy in a 3 month span.

Does anyone ever build immunity? I am posting this as i lay here with coughing, severe chest pain, a probably high fever, and I can't get out of bed. I also want to say that I do blame the passengers at the airport. People don't have any manners. They cough, sneeze with like 25 gallons of nasty spit from their mouths and mocos from their nose, and at times I have had passengers sneeze nearly or on me. I sometimes even can see the layers of spit and snot in their clothes. And at times I am on the train and I can't move because it's so packed. So I have to suffer.

My coworkers never get sick. They never have to take sick days off. How does your body build immunity? I am realizing how airports are just as nasty places as schools and classrooms.

I probably have the flu or COVID. If I had one, I probably have the other.

Symptoms started after eating at Panda Express, so I wonder if the kitchen staff also sneeze on food. And it's frustrating because I am supposed to travel tomorrow in nearly a year. And this has to happen.

I got sick 2 days before I am supposed to take a huge vacation with everything prepaid. This really sucks. Any way I can get better really fast?

For context, I work at a huge airport and I think this is how I got this virus. So many people cough, sneeze, you can see the spit droplets sometimes because these people are so inconsiderate and sneeze out in the open onto their clothes in a small space around hundreds of passengers. Then they sniff a lot too.

So I think this is how I got sick. A few people sneezed uncovered, wet, with gallons of spit really close to me. So now because of their inconsiderate behavior, I am so sick. I didn't have a fever or felt feverish, but now I am starting to feel feverish. It was a bad sore throat with coughing. I had to buy cough medicine because I couldn't lay down without coughing up a lung.

This illness seriously has me reconsidering working at an airport because it is indeed as germy as a preschool.

I have this trip I planned for months with everything prepaid and involved family too. I am beyond so upset. I hope this doesn't get worse. I haven't traveled anywhere in almost a year too.

Any way I can get better really fast?

Has anyone ended up homeless not by choice but because you don't have good credit to get your own apartment and can't afford a monthly extended stay motel?

Is there anyone who got an amazing job in a city halfway across the country and ended up homelesss due to having bad credit to get your own lease and your own apartment? Also, monthly stay motels are like 4-5 times the rent.

How did you live and work if you were homeless?

What is being homeless like on a day to day basis? What is a homeless shelter like?

Whether living out of your car or on the streets, what does a day to day basis look like? What is a homeless shelter like? I've heard that a homeless shelter has strict rules such as if you don't come back by curfew, you lose your bed. I also heard you get meals too.

Just want to hear from others what being homeless is like. Do you also have to worry about the police harassing you all the time and waking you up at odd hours asking you to move your car?

What is this really insanely loud noise when my Washing Machine is in the wash cycle?

This noise is insanely loud and causes my floors to vibrate in my apartment. When it washes mid cycle, I hear clicks and then a loud, "screeeech." And it does this several times. I called maintenance and they said my washer works fine, but didn't have the patience to wait 30-45 minutes to hear it.

Can I fix this on my own? Or will I need a new washer?
