controlli sigarette elettroniche in aeroporto?

Ciao, sarò presto alle Maldive. Qualcuno ci è stato di recente? I controlli doganali a Malé sulle sigarette elettroniche sono davvero così severi e inevitabili, o si riesce a passare?

Have a 6am flight from geneva airport

Hi my flight departs at 6am from Geneva airport. I am coming from a bit far place. And have to stay overnight in a hotel.

I have a connecting international flight from zurich after that.

I realised that they don't allow overnight stay in the airport and the airport is closed till 4am.

My flight departs at 6 am, so when should I reach the airport? And i would like to have a shuttle/ bus from the hotel because it would be dark and I am female solo traveller.

Any Recommendations for hotel? I would like it to be safe and very close to hotel and also have shuttle services or are very close to the airport?

Any you guys also give me like the plan on when should I reach the airport and which shuttle/bus I should take? I also have 2 heavy luggages.

Thank you! I appreciate it :)

As soon as arrive at Heathrow airport, should I take black taxi or uber? Which is safer and affordable?

I know the train is the cheapest way to get into the city. However, I'll be arriving around noon with one checked suitcase and a carry-on. After spending several hours on a plane, I'm wondering if it would be worth paying extra for a taxi or Uber to get to my accommodation instead.

From a safety perspective, which would you recommend? I've heard about some issues with Uber, so I'm curious whether licensed taxis are generally considered the safer option, especially for someone arriving with luggage and traveling alone.

What's your favorite airport in the world?

I've been to many airports, but Istanbul Airport for me is the best!

Since I'm someone that loves walking, it's hands down the best... Second comes Bahrain International Airport.

anyone who has flown from zaventum recently: immigration lines

Hi,

I am non-EU and a Belgian resident, but not a Belgian citizen.

I'm flying internationally from Brussels in early July, with a departure at 9:00 AM. The earliest train from Antwerp would get me to the airport at around 5:30 AM. Technically, that's more than three hours before departure, but I've been hearing some horror stories about the check-in, security, and immigration lines.

I was thinking of getting Fast Track for security. With that, am I likely to make it to my flight on time? The other option is to take the train the night before (airport at 11.50pm) or catch a Flibco bus, but I'm not sure how reliable those buses are.

Can anyone who has flown recently let me know how bad the lines are right now?

Airport kiosk!

HEB REALLY NEEDS TO OPEN A LITTLE CAFÉ OR KIOSK IN THE AIRPORT. I would love to be able to pick up one of those turkey cranberry salad/grapes/cheese/crackers boxes before I get on a plane. Or a decent chicken salad sandwich, or any number of ready things that H-E-B makes. Seems like it would be good PR also. Thoughts?

EES waiting time in European airports

Hi, traveling to Europe this summer. Does anyone knows how long are passport control lines now? Is there a way (may be service to buy) to avoid waiting several hours in lines?
