Guest decided to do a burnout inside… how would you repair this flooring?

Well… this is a new one for me…… smh
A guest decided to do a burnout and left this behind.

It looks like the tire transferred a ton of black rubber onto the flooring, but I’m not sure yet if it’s just sitting on the surface or if the finish underneath actually got damaged.

I sincerely want to learn something new with this one.

Before I touch it, how would you approach this repair without making the flooring worse….

First timer how do I fix???please help!

I have been using this bag ever since I started my handyman business journey late 2019. I guess wear and tear did the damage. Does anyone have any visual DIYs or how to info…. I wish not to trash historic start and want to pass it down within my family

Only available outlet was on the other side of the fireplace

Needed to add an outlet above a gas fireplace, but there wasn’t an existing outlet near the location.

The only practical power source I found was a receptacle in the room directly behind the fireplace wall.

I pulled that receptacle, ran the new cable from that circuit to the new location above the fireplace, made my connections, and tested everything afterward. The new outlet tested at 119V and the tester showed correct wiring.
Everything worked, but I’m interested in how the electricians here would’ve approached the same situation.

Looking at the photos of my work, what could I have done better?
