Can anyone tell me if they heard the guy coming up the stairs?

I can't hear shit in this game right now, the environment is way too loud I barely hear footsteps, its not a headset issue as I have used them forever and this issue is fairly recent.

Can barely see anything when playing

Just started the game and at night its too dark I cannot see a thing, as if the driving wasn't hard enough, during missions when killing the hatians I can barely see where they are, can't see a damn thing a times its way too dark, is there a fix?
