My gf got engaged to someone else (part 2)

The link to part 1 will be below. But basically exactly what the title says. I found out when a friend saw the proposal on social media. We were in a 2 year relationship by that time…

So the second portion I didn’t mention was that when I found out we obviously broke things off for a few months. But as predicted she contacts me again and says her fiancée found out about us and he proceeded to break things off. She was fine with it according to her since she loved me and not him anyways. She supposedly realized what she had with me. I was very cautious communicating with her again. But she slowly came back in my life, and my dumbass took her back.

We never lived together, she lived with her parents at this time. Her parents are strict so I never came over, well so I thought. This is where it gets insane. I recently found out she was actually living with him this whole time even though they “broke up”. Fast forward another few months and guess what I see… elopement pictures. Yup this has been my life since Jan of this year. In constant misery. I never knew women could be this cruel and mask it so well. 5 total years together and knew her for 9.

There’s the link to part 1 if you want to read (not long, pretty concise).

My gf got engaged to someone else while we were together

Yup you read it right. I found out when a friend sent me pics of the proposal. It was the strangest feeling. As I was looking at the pics my brain refused to process what my eyes were seeing. I couldn’t even recognize her almost.

I had no emotional reaction. I didn’t feel hurt or sad or anything. It went on like this for a couple days. Then I finally broke down and have been suffering ever since (2 years now). Long story short she basically got back with her ex while we were still dating.

There is a part 2 to this whole story, but idk if this will even have enough interest. So let’s see how it goes …

To Scalpel or Not

It’s day 7. I chose the scalpel method and I’m progressing well. But I’m just curious what the experience is for the ns peeps. Specifically want to know the recovery portion not really the procedure itself.

Finally… Improvement!

I was starting to get worried. My condition was not getting any better 5 days post. I followed all precautions so far and last night I couldn’t fall asleep from the stress. Then I woke up this morning with noticeably less pain. I used restroom, made coffee and I’m now sitting up finally. There’s still some discomfort of course but so far so good, finally the beg of exhale!

Jockstrap

I was lazy and didn’t pick one up prior. I figured tight briefs would do the trick. Nope!

I kept wondering why every time I got up to pee or grab something I felt pain. I finally put on a jockstrap and lo and behold much better when walking around w/little to no discomfort.

I’m on day 5 post recovery and if there’s one advice I’d give …. well the title says it

Noob Here: Should I wait for market to open before buying positions?

I put in a buy order yesterday for VTI, QQQM, VXUS. I assume It will just open the positions automatically at mkt price since obviously mkt is closed rn. My question is should I just wait until the market opens tomorrow then press the order?

I Took Aspirin 3 Days Before My Appointment, Can I Proceed?

I thought I was only taking acetaminophen for my headache, but it turns out Excedrin contains aspirin too (250mg). My procedure is in 3 days and it strictly says 7 days of no aspirin, can I proceed? I don’t really want to notify the doctor because he might reschedule me. I’ve been waiting months now.
