I have irritant and allergic contact dermititis that led to scarring alopicia and I believe it's being covered up by multiple Dermatology offices,

I've proven I have irritant and allergic contact dermititis that led to inflammatory and scarring alopecia.

I got irritant and allergic contact dermititis that led to scarring and Inflammatory alopecia in the form of folliculitis and up to seven ridges in my scalp and rapid hairloss,

After being misdiognosed and given the wrong treatment.

Well I just got my scans back,

After being gaslit by Dermatology saying these ridges in my scalp are just my skull,

And that is just aga, and I have no Inflammation,

The scans show I clearly have ridges in my scalp, described as palpable ridges in the scans,

And a blood test show I have a botanical allergy,

And over 1000 pictures of my scalp show clear Inflamation and Seb derm of every kind.

And my biopsy shows lymphacytic Inflamatory reaction surrounds my blood vessels in my superficial and mid dermal layer,

With 42/46 follicles significantly miniturised,

And there's me of course telling them exactly how all this occured right from the start lol

And that it started unilaterally only after applying undiluted rosemary oil to brush my fringe,

I've more than cracked the case all on my own,

However I still have not been diagnosed and given treatment,

And every single last doctor Ive been put in front of has dismissed all info given,

Ommited it when handing over info,

and in multiple cases said I said things I did not,

Including saying to radiology that I've said the ridges were in my skull leading to in radiologists words the scans only legally being allowed to be viewed in relation to my skull,

Pathology was led to say I have well established aga by the dermatologist,

And twice given more info and stuck to their conclusion even stating no signs of Irritant contact dermititis,

Which is factually untrue,

Lymphacytic Inflamation is a clinical sign.

Take care of yourselves,

Be you're own advocate,

If something isn't right stand up for yourself,

Don't allow yourself to be bullied by doctors because they messed up.

Misdiognosis leading to delayed treatment and worsening. Need help navigating this situation.

How are you,

I'm in a war of a kind,

I need help navigating continued misdiognosis and delayed treatment.

I have Irritant contact dermititis that led to hairloss, follicuitis and fibrosis,

It was born from using undiluted rosemary oil to spike my fringe before work in 2024, then swapping to ordinary hair and scalp oil without me noticing is ever used undiluted rosemary.

I used them together for ten months,

I then went six months without using them once I realised they'd made my hair fall out exactly where my finger touched my scalp when id apply it too my hair,

I then used 3 days of Minoxidil six months later and it instantly made my hair fall out and spread the loss across my left hairline to areas I hadn't applied it,

I then went to a trichologist who misdiognosed me despite telling them exactly what occured, and having visible Inflamation on my scalp,-which they did not report to me,

I used nutra m as they instructed me and within four months it spread the hairloss across my left hairline all the way to my left temple,

I patch tested it on my right temple where I had no hairloss, and it made my hair fall out too.

Then I got follicuitis.

I now have gigantic fibrotic ridges on my right temple and the sides of my head going to the back of my scalp,

The ridges formed six months ago.

The dermatologist refuse to acknowledge what's wrong,

Default to mpb and say the ridges are my skull,

Despite the fact ive sent them extensive information for the last six months through email. Long before my first appointment,

Sent it again before each interview,

And printed it all out and brought it with me,

And brought advocates.

The first derm took two phone calls during my appointment,

did not look at my scalp with even a scope,

and concluded I have mpb,

I had to almost force them to inspect the ridge on my temple,

And force them to look at the info provided, which only angered them.

They said they'll do a biopsy,

And despite the genuinely concerned staff and managers setting me up with another derm by their own accord after the first misdiognosis with them I was misdiognosed again.

I told the second derm exactly what was wrong again, brought proof, trichology reports, photos of my scalp before and after nutra m ect,

They looked at my centre hairline for roughly 10 seconds,

where I first lost all my hair from the rosemary oil and said I don't think it's scarring...

Then said,

Right.. how do we diognose this then..

I'm sure you've heard this before,

you've got male pattern baldness.

i will be misdiognosed again in my next appointment unless something is done and I will continue to get worse.

I'm in incredible pain,

The ridges are getting bigger,

I'm forced to go to the same dermatology that keeps misdiognosing me as the hospital discharged me based on the private Dermatologists actions,

The derm did a biopsy,

The derm said to pathology

  1. I clinically have male pattern alopicia,

  2. that id been losing hair for two years, 3) that I'm in pain,

  3. stated the two biopsies were an a and b sample of frontal scalp,,

They did not say,

  1. I have Irritant contact dermititis- or the reported cause of it

- undiluted rosemary oil and nutra m hair revitilsation Serum, the 2nd of which was reported by a previous trichologist l after it took my hair,

  1. I have fibrotic ridges - one of which the biopsy was taken from,

  2. did not say id only been losing my hair since August of 2025 in the biopsied areas,

The biopsy came back saying

  1. up to 21 follicles per sample were significantly miniturised,

  2. a lymphocytic inflamatory reaction surrounds vessels in the superficial and mid dermal layer,

With the conclusion I have well established mpb,

The biopsy on my right temple with the ridge created a horn that lasted three and a half weeks and caused a circular ring if hairloss around it,.the left temples biopsy did not cause any extra hairloss and the swelling went away in two days,

When I returned to get my results the derm said Its hormonal and that I don't have inflammation,

When I asked for the pathology request form he sat straight and immediately made excuses why he's told them I have male pattern baldness,

I told him he's wrong and re explained how I lost my hair,

They said agree to disagree.

I said I will not agree to disagree,

When I told him why on earth would the Trichologist who's product made my hair fall out say in writing id had a reaction to it and lost my hair unless it was true.

In response they said,

I have no doubt you have a history of Irritant contact dermititis.

I asked for the biopsy to be reassessed,

With the correct info,

They simply told pathology patient has concerns for Irritant contact dermititis,

The pathology said there are no signs,

Which obviously isn't true.

Since then I have had a gigantic flare up of some kind,

Every single ridge on my scalp is in incredible pain,

The only thing that has helped is novasone and ibuprofen,

Both of which are anti inflammatory,

I need the correct treatment in every regard,

What do I do,

.you hear if people being misdiognosed for decades, that's normal,

What isn't normal is for a patient to know exactly what's wrong with them,

What caused it,

and to be dismissed and misdiognised.

Please someone if you got any ideas,

I'm all ears.

I have prominent scalp rushing due to fibrosis, born from Irritant contact dermititis and scalp massage during Inflamation. Has anyone managed to reduce fibrosis. It's been there since December.

I lost my hair because I used undiluted rosemary oil for four months starting Feb 2024 brushing my fringe,

It caused a small diffuse spot on my left side of my centre hairline,

I didn't realise at first thstbit was the cause irvthdtbid used undiluted oil, and began using 1 percent rosemary oil until Dec 2024 when I figured it all out,

I then went to a Trichologist, in June 2025, told them exactly what occured,

got dismissed, and misdiognosed with mpb,

And wasn't told I had inflammation pictured in my dermasscope photos taken at the time,

Was told to use a hair serum called nutra m, containing niacin, and melatonin,

It caused me to get allergic contact dermititis,

It took my entire hairline within four months,

It spread initially from my centre hairline all the way to the left temple,

Then after patch testing it on the right temple it took all my hair there too,

And hasn't stopped since I stopped using it,

I got fibrosis in December on my right temple after scalp massaging every day for two weeks,

And on the sides of my head,

I didn't massage the left temple so U didn't get fibrosis there,

I've come across stories of people saying they reduced fibrotic ridges in the past,

Does anyone have any success stories? Anything?
