Car is currently on 45000 miles and gets oil changes every 5000 miles roughly. Apart from regular servicing i think it’s about time for a gearbox oil change and some spark plugs. Is there any other recommended maintenance for this age or mileage?
Happened yesterday, it was badly rusted and finally gave up after a bad pothole. Been told it won’t be fixed for a few weeks and that I will be expected to drive it until then. Fixed it as pictured just to get me home to the yard but absolutely will not be driving it.

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. I’ve been with my girlfriend for almost a year now and we want to move in together. My dad is happy with that and wants me to live my life and have fun whereas mum is completely against it and trying to make my life difficult. She’s just very protective but it really is suffocating especially as I still share a room with my brother. Im 28 and have wanted my own place for a while. My girlfriend is English and im from Northern Ireland. She’s moving here to be with me permanently so this is my opportunity to finally get out of home. I will be moving out regardless but I just want some advice on how to minimise the effect on mum if at all possible.
The rear steps up to the hiab sit below the crash bar so they get dragged along the ground when you leave yards that are uneven. It broke completely when i stepped on it. Management can’t seem to fathom how it happened even though i mentioned it when the truck first arrived last week.
