What does a higher price razor get you?

Quick question, what do you get with a higher dollar razor say over 250, that is better then what you will find on a mid lvl razor says under $150?

This year I decided I wanted to try a few of the popular mid level razors so I grabbed an AL13 and a Game Changer, I was thinking about trying an Oliworks and Rockwell 6C also but as I type this my Rockwell seems to be lost in the postal loop so it got me thinking if it would be better to just jump up to a top tier razor and would I notice a benefit to cost ratio increase?

Thanks

EDIT: Thanks for the replys guys. Quick note, I realize I’m not going to get a better shave really, I’m more wanting to know if the material and tolerances are going to produce a better razor for the extra cost.

First stair of the day 🤬

I feel like I should just turn around and hit a pub.

[German] made watches.

First post got removed so trying this again.

Hello everyone,
My daughter is getting married and would like to buy her future husband a German made watch as a gift. Ideally 38-41mm on bracket and clean dress watch style. (Non chronograph) with a budget around 2500 max.

Sorry for my first post being a question but I’m out of my element with German watch brands.

How do you goldback?

I see alot of post from people showing off the stack and I’m wondering why? Do you not have places that accept them around you?

I was under the impression that the idea is to spend them. If you are just stacking them then other forms of bullion would make more sense.

I get it if you want the art work but hell that collection can be filled pretty quickly with how few states have bills so far.

So are you a collector or spender?

Which would be best?

So the wife purchased a $47 steak at the store the other day and I decided it’s time to buy a whole roast and learn to cut my own. So figure this will be used to cut top loin roast, Rib roast, Sirloin ect. I figure I want to get an 8” breaking knife and have narrowed it down to either a Victory or Victorinox. I’m guessing for the amount of use it will really see both would work but is there any certain thing that should edge me twords one or the other? Is there another knife besides a breaking that I would need?

Also I’m thinking knife, cutting block, and vaccum sealer. Anything else I’m going to need?

Thank you.
