Is fortune confidant worth it?

Majority of her abilities seem pretty worthless all things considered. The only ones that seem useful are her rank 5 and 8 abilities. But is using up time to get her to those ranks even worth it? To get her to rank 5, I would need to not only waste 3 time slots just to get her request, then I have to spend an additional 5+ hang out sessions to get her to rank 5. At that point I could have hung out with another confidant more than 8 times. But if I do get her to rank 5 I can (from my understanding) boost my bond with one confidant by one point each day. Which seems like it could add up over time. So is the investment worth it?

Which confidants are best to focus on for a first playthrough?

I’m on May 25th, so not that far in, but I’d still like to know which confidants I should focus on. I know Kawakami is really good, Takuto is needed for the third semester and i want rank up Ann for romance (does that make me basic?), but aside from that, I have no clue who I should use my time slots for, which means I’m always walking around with pretty bad Personas so I can have one for each arcana.

Also, are there any Confidants that you don’t need a Persona for? Like Morgana seems to rank up through story progression. But is anyone else similar?

I just reached April 20th and I have a few questions.

  1. How long does it take to level up a give

n stat and

  1. do different activities have a greater or lesser impact on

a stat?

  1. What is arcana burst and persona fusion? The

  2. game kind of just threw those terms at me without explaining anything.

  3. Will confidants unlock as i progress the story or do i really have to run around the map and look for random people that i can talk to?

Edit: is the text messed up for anyone else? On my end the post is completely jumbled no matter how many times i fix it

I’ve tried figuring it out by looking through all the hiragana and katakana, but some of these just don’t match any of them, so I’m guessing they’re drawn in a more stylized way. Like in the first and second picture we have what looks like "ワ" (wa) but "ワ" doesnt have the line sticking out the top
