Is preworkout free?

I didn't have pre workout, so I went to the cafe and asked for some, and they gave me two scoops and told me, don't worry about it!

Is pre workout, normally free or did my charm work? 🤣

Business Networking Open Mat 8.1.26

If any of you ladies or gents call Phoenix home or will be in Phoenix this weekend, I'm hosting a Business Networking Open Mat.

So if you're tired of networking with people who you don't give a hell about and have nothing in common with, check out this open mat because it's all about networking with people who have a shared love for Jiu Jitsu.

Does the allure ever wither?

I signed up for a membership last month and I don't think I've ever been happier with a gym. I've been going consistently, probably double what I would at a standard gym.

I work from home, and I'll catch myself heading to Lifetime just to work from there instead.

The conversations I've had with members and staff have all been genuinely cool. I know part of this is that I joined a brand new location, so everything still has that new shine to it.

So my question is, does the sunshine and rainbows ever set?

Please learn from my stupidity

Someone at my casino won a high-hand promotion and sold me their prize — $1,000 in promotional chips for 60 cents on the dollar. I felt like a genius.

I had a plan. Bet banker and player simultaneously in baccarat. Wash the chips into real cash. Elegant. Foolproof.

I did not read the rules.

Walked up to the table, put $500 on banker, $500 on player. The dealer swept every chip off the table without blinking. Promotional chips are single use. Win or lose, they vanish after one bet. This is apparently written down somewhere.

The floor handed me $500 cash. I had paid $600.

I engineered a $100 loss with a strategy specifically designed not to lose money.

Read the terms on your promo chips. Google it in the parking lot if you have to. Do not be me.

Flood insurance in NJ

Hello all,

I'm being robbed and need help finding a new flood insurance company in NJ.

The problem I am facing is that my property is a multi-use home, meaning the downstairs unit is a commercial nail salon, and the top floor is a 1-bedroom unit.

The only flood insurance company I found charges $7,000 a year, hence the me being robbed.

Are there any options for me?
