So i'm currently a med tech and work as a PCT in an adult care facility with aging people with mental disabilities. I love what i do. I love everyone at my job and i started getting curious abl it the nursing part of the whole deal. I wanted to pursue nursing and then i messed up.

I got in an argument with my (ex) bf and we were both drinking and ended up both getting arrested for domestic violence. Neither of us pressed charges. I was put on paid administrative leave for my job due to the serious of the nature but got it back after their own internal investigation and after i sent them the documentation that no charges were filed and the case was dropped.

i just want to know if i just ruined my chances of becoming a nurse cause this was a big dream of mine and i hate that i fucked it up over one night of drinking too much & getting into a fight with a now ex.

i currently live in Denver and have been here for 2.5 years. I moved from Las Vegas. I just went through a breakup and want to move again. Not sure where. Illinois (chicago area perhaps?) or Florida (jacksonville maybe?)

i'm 33. single. by myself. I had cats but rehomed them. :(
Also I drive trucks but idk if i'm going to continue much longer i kinda miss healthcare. I've gained LOTS of weight (40+ pounds) since driving over the road and nothing fits other than yoga pants that are beyond stretched out. I just recently started working out again so the idea of florida weather is what's drawing me there. Or the jobs in chicago. I wouldn't mind warehouse work. but my bones hurt in the cold 🥴
