We've got some new animation footage of our main character to share today! As we mentioned last week, we’ve made the switch from first-person to third-person, and it’s already opening up so much more for us.
We originally designed Pergamon as a first-person shooter, but after much thought we decided to switch it to third-person — and honestly, I love how it’s turning out.The transition is still ongoing as we work through development, but it already feels like the right move. Being able to see your character’s movements, traversal, and combat makes the world feel much more alive and immersive. It’s especially fitting for this mysterious alien planet full of exploration, platforming, and intense encounters.
