The night I realized I could trust him with my worst moments.

Before we officially started dating, we both knew we liked each other, but nothing was labeled yet.

One night I got horribly sick. I was vomiting the entire night and barely aware of what was happening. I sent him a simple text without expecting much because it was really late.

He had only woken up to drink some water. He saw my message, forgot about going back to sleep, and immediately stayed with me.

I don't remember everything clearly because I wasn't in my senses, but I remember his voice. He kept talking to me, calming me down, making sure I was okay. When I couldn't stop panicking, he started telling me a random story just to distract me. I slowly relaxed... and eventually fell asleep while we were still on the call.

Looking back, it wasn't some grand romantic gesture. He just chose to be there when I needed someone the most.

That night happened before we were even officially together, and somehow it told me more about the kind of person he is than words ever could.

Took a road trip to Ujjain after years and the roads are genuinely developed!

So my family decided for a Ujjain trip. Honestly, I was fully prepared for the absolute worst, the usual broken state highways, infinite dust, and those random massive craters that swallow your car's suspension.

But ngl, the drive was good. My dad took this new Indore-Ujjain four-lane greenfield corridor and the whole layout is surprisingly sorted. Kudos to the MP government for this really! Now to be fair not whole corridor is perfect some patches need more work.

It’s suprising to see actual decent connectivity happening because usually our highways are just endless construction zones that never finish. My car didn't even get that dirty, which is a rare win for a road trip in India lol.

Watching my mom finally think bigger about her business after years of playing it safe

My mother has been running a small textile shop in Madhya Pradesh for nearly 15 years. She's built it from scratch through hard work, loyal customers, and a lot of persistence. But despite doing well, she's always hesitated when it came to expanding the business.

The biggest reason wasn't competition or lack of demand. It was the fear of registrations, compliance, paperwork, and dealing with different government departments. Every time the idea of scaling up came up, it felt like more trouble than it was worth.

Lately, though, she's been paying attention to some of the initiatives the state has been rolling out for women entrepreneurs, including the Devi Ahilyabai Nari Shakti Mission. Combined with the newer online processes and single window systems, it feels like the path to becoming a registered MSME might be more approachable than it was a few years ago.

I'm trying to help her understand what options are actually available and whether making the jump from a small family run shop to a larger operation is realistic.

I'd love to hear from other women business owners in Madhya Pradesh or from people who have helped a parent grow their business. Have these newer support programs made a meaningful difference, or is most of the challenge still the same as before?

(OC)My fiancé surprised me with the sweetest little riverside date

My fiancé surprised me with this little cup of sweet goodness, and we sat by the riverside eating it while watching flowers float by on the water.

Nothing fancy, nothing expensive—just one of those quiet moments that makes you realize happiness can be incredibly simple. ❤️
