TIL Texas Roadhouse has meat cutting competitions.
Today one was held at an ice rink.

The meat was stored uncovered and unattended in the hallway leading to the locker rooms.

Competition organizers said the meat would later be taken to close by TR restaurants and served.

Hockey games were in session and many players walked past the meat before and after their games.

For a while these could only be ordered online at Costco. I was pleasantly surprised on my shopping trip today.

Come support the Foothills Fire Protection District at their annual Pancake Breakfast tomorrow morning.

Pancakes, silent auction, fun for all ages and lots of community information from local agencies.
