Legoland Costco Ticket Questions

Legoland Costco Ticket Questions

Hi everyone! My partner and I were planning a trip to Legoland California and had some questions about the Costco ticket.

For starters, I was curious about what it included. To my knowledge, the ticket includes Legoland itself, Sea Life, but not the water park. In addition, I believe no discounts come with the pass itself.

Further, is it true you can't check for the dates that you're buying for beforehand? My concern is that I may buy tickets that we can't use because the dates don't fit our schedule.

Finally, we were curious about value.

In cases like Universal Studios Hollywood, it actually makes more sense to buy their Gold Annual pass, since it includes parking, 12-15 months of park entry with exception of blackout dates (depending on whether or not you buy the pass during the "3 months free with any new pass" promotion, and 15% off of things like merch, tickets, food, etc. The gold pass costs roughly $300.

Costco does have a Universal season pass that's around $200, the equivalent of a silver pass to my knowledge, but the Costco pass doesn't include things like parking. During park hours, Universal general parking costs $40, so basically if you go more than once, it makes sense to just get the gold pass over the Costco one.

So, I was wondering if it was a similar situation with Legoland.

Thanks so much!!

Passmember Takeover (1st Time)

Hi everyone! This is my first passmember takeover so I was curious about something.

How often do they have the end-of-season sales, and do you suppose they'll have some things for sale at the passmember event left over from FFN?

And what other sort of things do they typically have for these events, or is it just the regular park being open later for pass members, just without the character meet ups?

Like I really think the DnD keychain is cute but if I don't have to pay $35 for it, I don't want to lol.

Thanks!!

Question about $49 Fanfest Ticket

Hi, I had a question about how exactly the $49 ticket works. Do both people have to be present to buy the tickets? Both myself and a significant other are planning on going to Fan Fest on May 16th.

However, only I have a gold pass, and he doesn't. Also, he's not sure what time he's going to be able to arrive. So, my plan is that I was going to get us both the $49 fan Fest tickets in the park before everything shuts down for Fan Fest nights, and then I could maybe email/text him the Fan Fest ticket, without him needing to pay full price for a park ticket that he's probably not going to be able to use, because of what time he's probably going to get off work?

Can that possibly work, or does he just have to pay outside ticket prices for fanfest night?

Thanks!!

▲ 9 r/USC

Hi, I'm graduating this year, and I was wondering about the dates that certain subscriptions from USC retire, like Adobe, Chat GPT, discounted tickets, etc.

Thanks!

Hi everyone! I was wondering about the discounts that a gold pass member or student could get for FFN.

I'm unaware of any typical student discounts in the park (other than student tickets available in school portals) and I know that there's the 15% off with the gold pass, with free parking and such.

I know in the student portal, depending on the day, FFN is anywhere between $64-81, so I was planning on just going to the park before like 5 or 6, so I can secure parking without needing to pay extra for FFN, and paying for the extra FFN ticket there.

For gold pass members/students, is there any discount on the ticket, or is it just $49 + $20 for early access like everyone else?

Also, for people who have been there, do you recommend early access if you're a gold pass member, since technically you can stay in the park and keep your car parked in the garage, just not enter areas yet?

Thanks again!!
