I’ve just created a vinted account. Thinking of selling some of my niche fragrance collection in smaller sized decants to make them more accessible and to offset some of the cost of these bottles.
I hear a lot of horror stories and just wanted to ask what signs/red flags I should look out for when I sell. I’m just really paranoid about being scammed on an expensive item because…well they’re expensive to replace.
For reference, my bottles are all around £200+. I would be selling them in smaller quantities. If I get many buyers all claiming they didn’t receive their item, and my understanding is that Vinted will always side with the buyer, I’m going to be considerably out of pocket when it comes to rebuying another bottle for example.
I know this may not be the typical type of Vinted sale because I’m not selling one item and done with it, I would be selling the same item many times to many buyers, potentially. But any help tips etc I can get would be much appreciated.
Full disclosure, although I have a collection of these niche perfumes I am by no means a well-to-do individual. I work a very standard 9-5. It’s a collection built up over a long time. It’s one of the reasons why I want to explore the idea of “cashing in” and selling some of my collection off in smaller samples. And it’s one of the main reasons why I’m really paranoid about being scammed. Thanks in advance for the help.

Purchased from Notino last week to what the hype was about. Pretty underwhelming tbh. I’ve never smelled it before so nothing to compare it to.
I noticed the underneath of my box and the “Rasasi” at the bottom of my bottle are not authentic according yt vids etc. so just thought I’d ask on here.
