Maztica is a continent ripe for exploration and despite the fact that Tabaxi hail from there I rarely see art of any of them with Inca/Aztec theming. Thus, Jade Eye was born!

Hailing from a warrior tribe ruled by a Jaguar Lord, Jade Eye was left to die by his tribemates after a brutal construction accident. As luck would have it, Gondian missionaries had been exploring nearby and found the Tabaxi on the brink of death. Jade Eye was eternally grateful for the assistance and rededicated himself to Gondian ideals. Working alongside Gnomish inventors, he was able to assist in crafting magical prosthetics to help him regain his edge in battle.

Jade Eye now wanders Faerun in the name of Gond, protecting those who seek knowledge for beneficent ends and wrecking the constructions of more malicious folk.
