We went out to an area supper club for some prime rib last night and my wife ordered a bigger cut so I would have leftovers. This was amazing...Vidalia onions, provolone cheese and a roll grilled in the pan to give it that perfect crispy, crusty bite. I have a little more left for a cold sandwich.
We are staying at the Moxie tonight and heading to the St Paul and The Broken Bones concert at the Sylvee. I assume the options for late night food is limited on a Sunday but does anyone have suggestions? We will be dealing with munchies and desperate for something. Even pizza delivery will work but if there is any place that serves a good burger or such it would be preferable. Thanks in advance.
What a great show. I was psyched to see Waxahatchee and she was great, everything we hoped for. But I must admit we didn't come in knowing a lot about MJ. We saw him open for Isbell playing with Wednesday and they were great and I have a couple songs on playlists after listening a bit over the last few months but his stuff hits way different live.
Great crowd too. I am 64 and my wife is 57 but the age range at this one was unique. Plenty of folks in our range but so many younger folks including so many young guys who really seemed to dig his stuff. And Brennan Wedl was impressive. She has that Lucinda sound that is really good. I will definitely be listening to more of her stuff.
