Hello! Asking for assistance with connecting a Galaxy Watch 3 to a new S26 Ultra.
My mother has had this watch for 2years connected to her S21Ultra and about 2/3 months ago it stopped connecting to her S21 Ultra phone.
When trying to reconnect it the passkey would come up and than it will say connecting with percentages but at the end it would drop out as failed connection and ask to try again. This has become a continuous cycle.
I have re-downloaded the app, cleared the apps data, restarted the watch, removed it from the phone and removed the device from the Samsung account but nothing changes. I have spent HOURS trying to get it to connect trying lots of different ways and nothing is working.
The watch connects fine to my S24 and my father S25 with no problems. My fathers phone uses the same Samsung and Gmail account, my phone uses a different samsung/gmail account.
Figuring that her phone was older anyway she brought the new S26 Ultra and its also having the exact same problem connecting and I don't know what else to try.
The watch has the most recent update.
Any help or advice is appreciated. I fear that something deep in her phone is preventing it connecting so when the S21 ultra was transferred to the S26 Ultra its copied across as well.
