This life is a prison, to live you must struggle

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the unbeliever.”

My faith is like a rollercoaster, advice?

I'm 21M from Singapore. Growing up I had always been praying 5 times a day or close to it everyday, and I would feel guilt if I missed one. Even throughout college I managed to be strict with my prayers throughout classes and projects.

Right now I'm doing my military conscription, I'm just a uniformed office worker, making 620usd/month, and my faith has been up and down like crazy lately. Nowadays I pray at most twice a day, but then be able to pray 5 times + tahajjud + going to the mosque everyday the next week, but then my faith gets weak and I go back to praying 2 times a day, it's like back and forth

I try my best to make dua to increase for Allah to increase my iman but is there anything else I can/should do? Maybe it's my environment since I still have to serve for a year plus but I feel like that's an excuse.

Any advice?
