Give me the Cavs… Give me the Pistons
This man’s face says it all. Do we prefer the Cavs, or the Pistons? I don’t care and neither does he.
Here’s what I’m rooting for. A Cavs win tonight, series knotted at 2-2, a grueling 3-2 lead for one or the other, tie it up and a physical and ugly battle in game 7.
Another 9-10 days rest for OG (yes we will need him), heel up the sprained thumb for Josh and the tweaked ankle for Jalen.
I do not think the time off will affect our momentum. The Knicks are playing on a different level in a different stratosphere.
If we get the Cavs we have home court and the Garden crowd and their intensity drives the Knicks into a frenzy of defensive psychosis. Knicks in 6.
If we get the Pistons at their house, it’s Cade as their primary weapon and we’ve got enough to counter Harris, Duren and Robinson with a bench that is deeper with length and defense with Mitch protecting the rim and KAT as a major facilitator. Knicks
in 6.
OG gets to heal, Bridges is playing at a star level and Josh is simply from another planet.
Bring on a lengthy series and let’s take this to the finals. We’ve got enough to win a chip.
Either team, I don’t think it matters this year.
