Turned a $3 AliExpress dental scaler into an ultrasonic cutter for resin prints
I print highly detailed biological models, so breaking fragile resin parts during support removal is a nightmare. I bought a cheap scaler, straightened the curved tip with pliers, and sanded it down. Works perfectly as a DIY ultrasonic knife without putting stress on the resin.
