As a student who really aims for the top, I often study for 8 hours a day or longer. We all know our phone keeps us away from studying, but here's a tip. What really helped me achieve my goal was when I was challenging myself with all the methods I could think of at once. I placed a poster in front of my study table wherein it shows me how my life would end up if I didn't work hard enough, and then I made a spin the wheel of ideas to embarrassed myself to have the adrenaline going for example "Telling the person you dislike how u feel about them" and etc. You will use that spin the wheel each time you study. While also adding music to that, with songs that help you feel like if you fail, you'll end up seen as a failure. And don't forget to place your study materials in the study table where you can just reach the important parts you really need to study, the more organized the easier for you to keep going.

Magandang araw o gabi! I’ve recently become interested in learning about the marks placed above or below vowels, such as á, à, â, ä, and similar symbols. Nakapagtataka na bagama't na-encounter ko naman na ito magmula elementarya hanggang kolehiyo, hindi ito naituro nang maayos. I suppose it's because of the system. From what I understand, they help indicate pronunciation, stress, tone, or changes in meaning, but I would like to understand how to use and actually read them.

What are these marks formally called, and how do they generally work across different languages? May mga rules ba behind these accent marks?

I’m mainly asking out of personal interest and curiosity about language and pronunciation systems. Please educate me about anything related to this or so. Thank you in advance!
