So, there is my cousin mausi(mother's cousin sister)who got married last year, her age is only 22 but her family wanted her to get married early. When she met the boy's family I was also present there her mother in law said things we have maid for cleaning home and washing utensils. So only work is cooking and that also mainly lunch because we have fruits or something light in the dinner.She also told that she can study freely as there is not lot of work.But after marriage we get to know that there is no maid ,my cousin mausi have to do all the work and her mother in law is making my mausi wash her undergarments. Her husband takes meds for depression. Her husband also called her kaali (black women). There is no AC at their home her mother told but it's okay like it can't be the reason for dispute. Her mother in law denied when she told she wants to eat ice-cream. She told we can't spend on unnecessary things.
Then her mother her took back and send her sasural( husband's home)after some days after making clear her daughter will not tolerate all this. They have also hired a maid now . But I don't think her in laws can ever be good because we can't change thinking of people.
