I've been eyeing this vintage Pioneer PL-12, price around 188€/220$.

I'm new to turntables and would primarily listen to jazz, classical and rnb music. Would this be a fine first TT?

Compared to other posts, the price might be a bit on the higher end. I live in a small country where most used TTs are around the price or higher, and I'm not interested in buying a cheaper used TT, that needs to be refurbished.

With the help of google translate, here's the sellers description: "Very nice and very well-playing PL-12 from Pioneer's golden days in the 70s. Veneered with real oak. Mounted with a good-sounding Ortofon M15E Super pickup in original headshell. Bearing cleaned and lubricated. Damping foam in suspension replaced. New gold-plated RCA connectors mounted. Can be seen, tried and heard here - will not be shipped."

I don't have speakers or pre-amp, so this will just be the start.
