HELP - Live Loops missing on GarageBand Mac (v10.4.13) - MacBook Pro 2018
Hi everyone,
I’m losing my mind here. I’m trying to set up GarageBand to do some live looping with my voice and my Akai MPK Mini, but I cannot find the Live Loops (grid mode) anywhere.
My Setup:
• Machine: MacBook Pro 2018
• GarageBand Version: 10.4.13 (should definitely have Live Loops)
• Gear: RØDE NT-USB Mini & Akai MPK Mini
The Issue:
- When I go to File > New, I only see "New Project" and "Project Templates" on the left sidebar. The "Live Loops" tab is completely missing.
- Inside an active project, the grid icon at the top left (next to the Library icon) is nowhere to be found.
- The Option + L shortcut does absolutely nothing.
- There is no "Show Live Loops" option under the "View" (Présentation) menu.
I’ve already checked the Sound Library and downloaded all available content. My mic and Akai are recognized and working, but without the grid, I can't map my pads to trigger vocal loops in real-time.
Has anyone encountered this on version 10.4.x? Any idea how to force the grid mode to appear?
Thanks for the help!
