Safety risks: Operating beyond the intended speed can lead to loss of control and serious accidents.

 

Warranty void: Unauthorized modifications will void your vehicle’s official warranty.

Q2: How can I check the corresponding fault when an error code appears on my ekickscooter?

A2: You have several convenient options:

 

Segway Official Website: Go to the Support section > Convenient Service > FAQ. Select your product model and click “Error Code” in the left menu.

 

Segway Mobility App: Connect your vehicle via the app. It will automatically display the error code and suggested solutions.

 

Reddit Community (r/SegwayScooter): Search for error codes in the community, where we regularly post the latest updates.

 

 

 

Q3: Why is my ekickscooter not equipped with cruise control?

A3: We totally understand your expectation. Cruise control is indeed a really practical and user-friendly feature, and we know how much you would like to have it available on your ekickscooter.

 

If you are based in Europe, your ekickscooter will not come with the cruise control function. This is subject to European local regulations, which clearly prohibit the use of cruise control on ekickscooters.

 

We always follow regional traffic regulations strictly to ensure product compliance and user riding safety.

 

 

 

Q4: Is it recommended for me to update my ekickscooter to the latest firmware?

A4: We fully understand your hesitation when it comes to updating the firmware of your ekickscooter. It’s completely normal to wonder whether the latest version is necessary or worth installing.

This type of update is really worthwhile. It mainly fixes minor known glitches and optimizes the internal system of your ekickscooter, making your daily ride more stable and reliable. We’d suggest you install these updates without hesitation.

 

Feature Updates

This kind of update focuses on bringing new functions to your ekickscooter. There’s no rush to update if you’re perfectly satisfied with your current riding experience. You can choose to upgrade only when you’re curious about and want to try the newly added features.

 

To sum up, you can make your decision casually based on your own usage habits. Keeping your ekickscooter in a stable state is always the most important thing for a comfortable ride.

 

 

 

Q5: How can I troubleshoot when my ekickscooter fails to connect via Bluetooth?

A5: It’s really troublesome when your ekickscooter can’t pair with your phone via Bluetooth. We know how inconvenient this can be when you want to check device status or adjust settings in the app. Luckily, most issues can be fixed with simple checks.

 

First, check if Bluetooth is occupied

If your ekickscooter’s Bluetooth indicator is on, turn off Bluetooth on other connected devices, then search again in the app.

 

Second, double-check basic settings

Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth, location and network are on, and grant app permissions. Keep your phone within 5 meters of the ekickscooter, and make sure the ekickscooter has at least 30% battery and is not charging.

 

Third, refresh Bluetooth and the app

Toggle your phone’s Bluetooth off and on, or restart your phone. You can also reinstall the latest Segway Mobility App and try again.

 

Fourth, confirm ekickscooter status

Make sure the ekickscooter is powered on and unlocked. For some models, short-press the power button to activate Bluetooth before pairing.

 

Try these steps one by one. Your ekickscooter’s Bluetooth will usually work again soon. If the problem is not resolved, you can contact the nearest official after-sales service center for repair.
