To sell or not to sell?

Illl try make this short.
I escaped dv last year and I e been trying to do my flat up and better my life for my kids. The flat is nearly finished apart from my hallway and bathroom. But i really want a car! I’m starting lessons next week and I’ve got my test booked for December. But things are tight right now and these lessons are going to cost me 160 a month! I want to drive and take my kids places that don’t require a bus or train, once I pass my test it will take me months probably another year to afford a car so I’m thinking of selling my Lego, Rebrickable says it’s worth 8 grand obviously I won’t get that for it but I’d be able to get a good car . I don’t know what to do! My friend says keep it because it makes me happy but the other issue is that it’s all in the loft at the moment because I don’t have room for a city until one of the kids move out and that’s gonna be a long time because they are 9&8 years old lol. So, sell or no?

My little collection so far. Cat won’t let me take a picture

Haven’t been doing this long and unfortunately I jumped straight in and bought the stupid fractionals but I’m done with them now and I’m buying coins from now on. Where do you buy from in the uk?

Teach me your ways? Where do I learn to make sure I’m doing this correctly?

So I want to start buying small amounts for my children, I’m a single mother and I want to start buying so I have something to leave my children when my time finally comes, but i just don’t know what I’m doing, I’ve tried downloading guides but it just confuses me, I also can’t really afford to buy large amounts because i only have £100 a month spare I’m in the uk too if that makes a difference. I just feel so overwhelmed and am worried I’m going to do something stupid.
