In tumblr's "cutesy" way of saying that a post is unavailable, that is.
I run a submission-based blog and normally I'm able to submit to the blog myself, but today I got this error. I have not turned submissions off, and I've been receiving submissions as of a few hours ago, the queue is still running.
Let's say there's a parody news article that says, "A new bill that says all passports must provide a marker for people who identify as birds". Someone takes it seriously and spreads it around as a sign of "wokeness gone mad". Someone says, "check the source, it's from a parody news site." They say something to the effect of "well, it might not be true, but the fact that I was able to believe it is proof of just how crazy things have gotten!"
Note: I KNOW about r/atetheonion that is NOT what I'm talking about. It's not just the believing parody is real, it's insisting the fact that they fell for the parody is proof of the wildness of the "other side".
