What is wrong with the tech industry in 2026

Why is it so hard to get a job?

I genuinely want to understand what is happening with the tech job market right now

I’ve been applying for developer roles since June 2026. I’ve sent out a lot of applications, but so far I’ve mostly received no response at all with only a few rejections

What’s frustrating is that it’s not even about getting rejected after an interview I’m struggling to get a response or reach the interview stage in the first place

I’m a 2026 graduate looking for entry-level developer opportunities, and at this point I’m honestly confused about what I’m doing wrong 😕

Is the 2026 tech job market really this bad for freshers?

For people who recently managed to land a developer job can you guys tell what actually helped you get interviews? Is applying on LinkedIn/Naukri/Indeed still effective? Should freshers be focusing more on referrals, networking, or something else? Are projects actually helping, or do companies mostly filter based on experience?

If you’re currently job hunting too, I’d also love to hear about your experience

And if anyone has advice, recommendations, or resources for a fresher trying to break into tech, I’d genuinely appreciate it. I’m willing to improve whatever I’m doing wrong I just need to figure out what actually works in this market

Roast This Website.....

Our startup recently built AIToolSay, a website for discovering AI tools by category.

The goal was to make it easier to find useful AI tools without digging through endless blog posts and lists.

I'd love brutally honest feedback:

-What's the first thing you dislike?

-Is the homepage clear about what the site does?

- Does it feel like just another AI directory?

- What would make you stay longer or come back?

Please don't hold back. I'm here for honest criticism, not compliments. Any feedback or criticism can help us grow so please visit the website and comeback for roasting here.

All feedback positive or negative is welcome. Thank you for taking out time for review and feedback.

Feedback Needed!!!!!

Hey everyone,

We've been working on AIToolsay and would love some honest feedback from you guys.

https://aitoolsay.com - Explore the tool

The goal is simple: provide free AI tools for writing, SEO, chat, coding, and productivity in one place without requiring multiple subscriptions.

We're still improving it, so we'd really appreciate your thoughts:

* Is the UI easy to use?

* Which tools are actually useful?

* What features are missing?

* What would make you come back and use it regularly?

All feedback is welcome, even if it's critical. Thanks for taking a look.
