Most of the rhetoric you'll see from the left is about "billionaires", but the truth is most are just resentful of anyone slightly more successful than them.

The historical example of this were the Russian Kulaks.

Kulaks were literally just farmers with 1 foot out of the gutter. They had a slightly better house, a few cows, things like that. Maybe they could afford to employ assistants during harvest. Still peasants.

The Russians stole all their assets. The modern equivalent would be going after people who went to community college and have their associates degree or some technical training so they have an "okay" job. Or people who actually save a little money and invest instead of spending wildly on credit card debt or fancy cars they don't need.

Honestly, I think this one reason almost everyone dresses like a slob now. Go out in business casual and wear the knock off watch your wife got you for your birthday and suddenly you're Daddy Warbucks and should be handing out cash to every random hobo.

If you've been to a few self-storage properties you've probably seen it: an old cement hallway floor with a peeling coat of some kind of paint or sealant coming up. It's a 40 year+ old building.

Any product recommendations of what I can throw of over the top of this quickly (I usually work alone) that also dries fast?

I remember as a kid one of my favorite books was an atlas. Not only did it have maps of the world, it would have sections on what sort of goods were produced in what places, the local dress and cuisine, architecture, flags, photos of various natural wonders and so on. It made the world feel vast, colorful, interesting, and mysterious. You could read about the gemstones that come from a particular mountain, or a dye that comes from a weird insect, pearl divers, or exotic spices or silks. The world was full of different people, with different clothes, different religions, different types of governments and so on.

Now I fear the dominate world view kids are getting today is a dumbed down version where the world is only divided into "evil" white countries and "good" everyone else. Instead of seeing the real stories of other cultures, you either get a generic "non-white good" story of their culture or just some made up version to try to build up their history instead of letting their real monuments and achievements tell their story.

Since we now have this "good/bad" black and white view everywhere the world is so dull. Even fighting the idea of it is dull. Instead of 100 cultures with 100 stories, we get one fabricated story of locals who were advanced, peaceful, with great achievements, while simutaniously being in balance with nature, instead of just telling their human story whatever that happened to be.

And of course, the act of discovery in and of itself, the idea of ships and traveling and seeing distant mysterious things is bad. If the resulting interaction was good, bad, or a mixed bag, that kind of nuisance is not allowed. Growing up basic cable was loaded with history shows, archeologists, stories of ancient cities and peoples, documentaries, well if you do any of that stuff now you're just an evil white colonizer. It's like someone stole the box of crayons and only left the black and white ones.
