Hi. My 2003 3.0L started revving to 3500 RPM when it should be idling, checked the wiring harness and found the IAC wire to be shorted. This must have damaged some internal component in the PCM because the IAC valve won’t work anymore even when replacing the valve itself.

Someone gave me a PCM from another 3.0L. What do I need in order to replace it, have the correct VIN M and have it turn on without problems with the anti theft system?

Do I strictly need Ford IDS + VCM II or can it be done with HP Tuners or another software?

This is just me entertaining my mind, but am I the only one who thinks the GH cameras should share their bodies with the S the same way G9II shares its chassis with the S5II? It would make sense for the GH7 to use the S1II body was well, while the G9II could've been a compact like the S9.

Maybe one day, we'll get a weather sealed compact MFT with fully articulating and tilting screen, with all the functionality of the G9II, plus hybrid zoom.
