Fellow CB350RS owner here. Need some help with a weird rear brake issue.
My rear brake is honestly terrible. The bite is super weak, and the pads wear out insanely fast — even Vesrah and stock pads barely last me around 2 months.
BigWing keeps saying “just change the brake pads” and claims there’s no other issue, but clearly something’s wrong. Either they’re not checking properly or just being lazy.
So I took it to a local shop, and they temporarily fixed it by cutting/removing some rubber part (not exactly sure what it was). After that, the brake worked really well for about a week… then slowly went back to being useless again.
Has anyone else faced this? Any idea what could actually be causing it? Caliper issue? Master cylinder? Disc problem? Would really appreciate some input.
Update : so the local shop was finding it really hard to insert the brake pad in , he tried for like hours , he’s a superbike technician too , and he eventually cut off a rubber damp thingy and inserted it !
