I sat on my buddies ninja 500 the other day and maaaaaaan, that thing felt so freaking small. I am 6’4” 230lbs, and I don’t know how I rode a ninja and a Ducati 696 for so long. They are so light and to be honest kind of scary now compared to the 1090. There is no way I will go back to a street bike.
I have been riding trails alone for ever now. Just wondering where all the ADV riders congregate.
I bought the bike of my dreams about a month ago. I’m just realizing nothing at this point is curing my depression. I went on a 5 hour 300 mile ride this weekend and couldn’t wait to get home. I love the bike but just not as excited as I thought I would be. This is my third bike (1. Ducati 696 Monster, Kawasaki concours, and KTM 1090). I can’t find any friends with adventure or dirt bikes, not many close trails to ride. Just bored all around.
I am looking for a softer seat for my 2018 KTM 1090 Adventure R before take my cross country trip. Anybody have a recommendations.
